I've been, I enjoyed my stay, but the price of alcohol was shocking.

That's all I remember - over thirty years ago.

Rio

That's the place in Sturegallerian? I prefer Tures. They do a great burger there. Going out drinks wise is pretty much the same as London as are the supermarkets. But yeah eating out is very expensive

Yeah easy to pull and above your weight as well. I even shagged Miss Sweden 2004.

Re: Stockholm
Ive been a few times and went again in November, absolutely love the place. There is a bar in a shopping centre called Grand Escalier, wow, the women are all just naturally beautiful, and seemed to love the English.

Food is expensive though but drinks i thought were the same price as London really

Re: Stockholm
Stureplan is your friend.
I’d always start at Hotellet for a drink not food. Or even spend the whole evening there
http://www.hotelletsthlm.se/
I’d do Cafe Opera (Cafet) on weds night. Sturecompaniet on a thurs then if you are adventurous go to Hell’s Kitchen (Koket) after 2am.
Saturday Tudor Arms for footie….evening either Berns or Cafet again… and Koket.

Re the top paragraph - I'm well aware Oslo is in Norway, that's my POINT.

Re: Stockholm
Think it's actually illegal in Sweden to report on or release data on ethnic or national background in relation to crime. People have pointed out things like how in Oslo in one year 100% of all rape convictions were against people born abroad.

A culture that also prides itself on doing things like advertising baby dolls for boys and construction sets for girls, and denying ALL automatic access rights to a child's biological father.

Must be a really strange place to grow up in.

Lovely place to visit though and most Swedes I've met have been sound as fuck so I'm not slagging the place or the people off.

Super PC Sweden.
Trouble is that you're only free to think and say what you like as long as it's the same as everyone else ...
so as not to offend anyone

Certain areas of Suburbian Stockholm, for sure. There have been riots.

Sweden takes a lot more immigrants per capita than most, due to being *THE* most politically correct country in the World. That is a fact.

Yeah, that's my favourite Hotel Bar (upstairs). As it's always near-empty with a good *ambience*

Re: Stockholm
I've got to go there in the next couple of weeks, been to Gothenburg years ago which was really nice, a Swedish workmate from Gothenburg reckons Stockholm has been ruined by uncontrolled immigration leading to higher crime, surely not!
